My minimal makeup essentials.

We live in a world where we get five to eight makeup ads every time we watch a Youtube video. Or those annoy Facebook ads that target us, but we never click cause we're too scared. Sometimes we want minimal makeup essentials that save you from the overwhelming choices.

With so many overwhelming choices and brands, I want to share my favorite minimal makeup essentials with you. These have gotten me through a lot of interviews, bad skin days and stress.

1. Primer

When it comes to primer, I want something that will protect my skin without leaving it oily. I have tried a couple of different primers, but I always come back to Dr. Brandt Pores No More Luminizer Primer. This concealer is one of my favorite minimal makeup essentials. It leaves my skin non-oily and doesn't smear.

2. Concealer.

I'm one of the unfortunate ones that suffer from dark under circles. I didn't seem to have any during college. (Even when I only got four hours of sleep) Now it seems when I don't get sleep by nine they pop up!

No worries though because Glossier's Stretch Concealer is my all time favorite minimal makeup essentials. It works as easy as it's applied. It gives your under eyes a splash of freshness. The best part is you can apply it with your finger, and it gives you full day coverage with a dew finish.

3. Foundation.

If you thought finding a concealer was difficult for me, finding a foundation was a lost cause. I'm one of the many gals who struggle find the correct shade of foundation. Either everything is too pink or orange for me - it seems that some make-up brands think we don't exist. On top of that, some foundations would leave my face looking a caked mess.

After many many foundations and BB creams later, I found my true match. (Pun not intended.) My go-to foundation for a year now is Fenty Beauty's Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear foundation. It's honestly heaven in a glass bottle. It EXACTLY matches my skin tone. I can wear all day without it wearing off. My favorite thing it looks natural and with a little high-lighter it pops.

I hope that some of my minimal makeup essentials work for you as well. Let me know if you agree or what are your favorites products .
